Mangaluru: Rohan Agrawal is nineteen years old from Nagpur, deciding to get out of BCOM and study while hiking-hiking.
He began his journey after a holy swim in Ganga in Varanasi on August 25 last year.
He has discussed 15 states.
Rohan, who believes in learning through more processes such as Gurukul’s education, is in Mangaluru recently.
He is currently in the village.
He remains in temples, mosques, churches, outside buildings, houses or streets.
He was on his way to Goa and Maharashtra but had a plan for a wider trip.
“When I decided to study through traveling, my parents thought it was a strange decision and I should not continue.
This trip is the result of my reading and wants to explore the world itself.
I have called this trip, ‘Hiking to Siberia without money’ .
in the next 10 years, I hope to achieve Oymyakon in Russia by foot from Delhi.
I started this journey with just Rs 2,500 in which Rs 1,000 was robbed, but I have to defend myself.
I did not ask anybody for anything , But when someone offers something, I don’t reject it, “he said.
Throughout the trip, Rohan has filed himself in dog shelter and farming, working in hotels, serving as a chef in a hostel, teaching English to poor children and doing all kinds of strange work.
“I want to learn about religion and realize that travel is an integral part of all religions.
Even though you see a lot of negative things, I am happy that humanity is still there.
On the way, I have realized that the biggest problem is a plastic threat and there is a lack of awareness about how to reduce usage Plastics.
In the past year, I have done and participated in around 15 cleaning, “he said.
On why he chose Siberia as a final destination, Rohan said: “I have a problem facing extreme cold conditions, but believe that we can overcome anything because most problems exist in mind.
This trip is extraordinary as far as I work and learn new skills, “He said.
Rohan is the son of Ramesh Agrawal, who runs a water bottle shop in Nagpur, and Seema Agrawal.
