Vadodara: The number of Covid-19 cases registered in the city and district goes below 2,000 for the second time this week.
On Wednesday, 1,921 registered cases even as four died.
1,921 new cases registered on Wednesday reported from 9,797 tests.
Previously, 1,039 cases were detected from 6,597 tests on Monday.
Officials, however, took Monday data scatrically because the number of tests was also very low.
On Tuesday, the number of new cases has more than doubled compared to Monday.
The number of active cases in the city and district is now standing at 15,255.
Of these, only 422 were hospitalized including 30 who were serious in the ventilator or bipap machine.
Toll Death on Wednesday remains the same as the highest number of deaths reported during the third wave.
Four people died in the city and the district because Covid-19 on the day took the death toll to 657.
