Kanpur: The district health department recorded 193 new Covid cases on Sundays.
Also one more Covid death was reported.
However, more recovery than the new Covid case reduced active cases substantially.
But there is substantial sauce in sampling for covid testing.
While on Saturday, more than 7,200 samples were taken, on Sunday only 5,749 samples can be taken.
The active case that stood at 2,347 on Saturday was reduced to 2,080.
This happened as 459 people who were previously detected with Covid, have recovered.
Dip in Covid’s case it continues over the past five days.
And recovery is on the higher side than new cases.
The death of Lone Covid took place at the LLR hospital.
According to the district health department, patients are Nawabganjans and have suffered other diseases as well.
The Ministry of Health also stated that of the 459 recovery, 458 occurred in home isolation.
So far since Covid’s first wave has been established in 2020, a total of 92,174 people have been tested positively.
From this total, 1,917 people have given up and still managed to recover.
Of the total recovery, maximum patient (76,716) recovered in house isolation.
Meanwhile, new Covid cases were identified from Barra, Sharda Nagar, Indira Nagar, Prem Nagar, Damodar Nagar, Dabauli, Keshav Nagar, Koyla Nagar, Moolganj, Sarvodaya Nagar, Shyam Nagar, Collection of Nagar, GSVM Medical College, Ratanlal Nagar, Ratanlal Nagar, GSVM Medical College, UHM Hospital, Govind Nagar.
