Gurgaon: MCG plans to make two leachate ponds at the TPA location in bandhwari and get another reverse osmosis disk system (DTRO), which is used to treat Lindi.
Two leachate ponds at 10 hectares have been emptied and ground parcels are cleaned to prepare waste plants to energy (WTE).
CM Manohar Lal Khattar will put the foundation of the WTE plant, which will be established by Ecogreen, on December 10.
The Civic’s body has gave a tender to private companies to clean two lakh metrics inherited waste from the landfill so that the WTE factory can be established there.
To remove all waste from the site, two leachate ponds are also cleaned from the site.
“Because we have cleared two pools from 10 hectares of land in bandhwari, we will make two leachate ponds again before the rainy season so Leachi does not shed when it rains.
Leachy will be treated to use in a green belt,” said an official MCG.
