New Delhi: Two teachers were killed in a terrorist attack at a government school in the Sangam Eidgah area in Srinagar on Thursday, said Jammu and Kashmir Police.
“At 11:15 a.m., terrorists shot dead two school teachers in Sangam Eidgah in the Srinagar district,” said a police officer.
He said the area was launched and hunted has been launched to nail these attackers coming a few days after three people, including the leading pharmacist Makan Lal Bindroo, was shot dead at the incident of Srinagar and Bandipora.
A road in Srinagar will be named Bindroo, Mayor Junaid Mattu said on Wednesday.
“The road from Haft Charin Chowk to Jehangir Chowk (where Bindroo Medicare is located) will be named Shaheed Makan Lal Bindroo Road as an award for his contribution to the community,” Mattu said in a tweet.
