Mumbai: Two men from Vasai have been arrested and 1.7 kg of Heroin worth Rs 5.17 Crore confiscated from them in Fragger by officials of the state anti-terrorism squad (ATS).
The police said they had also confiscated Hospital 2.6 lakh, two cellphones and other materials used to sell drugs from men who were arrested – Alim Akhtar (46) and Chhota Nasir (40) – both villagers in Haridwar Regency in Uttarakhand.
Juhu unit officials and Thane ATS have been informed about drug smugglers and conduct operations in Pelhare Village, Vasai in Palghar district on Friday night.

The two people arrested were produced in court that had stopped them in ATS detention until February 15.
The police said that during the initial investigation, they found that someone from a neighboring country was a supplier of contraband confiscated.
Suppliers have been named in this case as the desired charges.
