2 valuable to death in LPG blaze leaks in se b’luru

Bengaluru: A woman in his 82-year-old and his 59-year-old daughter was burned alive in the flames allegedly triggered by a leak of gas cooking cooking in an apartment in Southeast Bengaluru on Tuesday night.
The explosion occurred at around 4:30 p.m.
in the second floor flat in Ashrith Aspire in SBI Colony, Devarachikkanahalli, near the BTM layout.

When residents of the apartment and neighboring buildings rushed out, they found the fire out of flats 210 and 211, was occupied by the same family.
Immediately the fire turned into a large fire accompanied by thick smoke and the flame touched the third floor and four apartments.
Older women, Lakshmidevi, who took a walk on the balcony of one of the flats, stuck because the room was sealed with iron grills.
He could not enter the burning flats.
He was seen crying for help when the flame swallowed it.
His daughter Bhagya Rikha, was trapped in another flat, while Bheemsen Rao’s son-in-law, 66, managed to come out.
Rao caught fire when he tried to make women in vain.
Rao has been treated in a private hospital and said because of danger.

He talked on the phone and begged help, “he said.

“We all stood outside seeing this helpless and began to cry,” he said, adding that firefighting personnel reached around 4.5 hours.
Four people tried to enter the flat to save the women rushed to cry because of burns, said Chandran.

Most of the residents of the apartment took refuge in Janhavi Enclave nearby because the electricity supply to their homes was cut off and the rescue of operations was taking place.
Two Ashrity Aspire residents of Naveen and Karthik said they were in their flat and did not hear the explosion.
They learned about fire through their Whatsapp group around 4.15 in the afternoon.
They began to evacuate women and children from all the flats and took him to the basement.
Naveen, who lives on the same floor but the different flats burned wings, said they did not face problems because of smoke and no panic.
“We waited for everything clearly to return to our flats,” he said.
