Palanpur: At least 20 Border Security Strength (BSF) Jawan has been tested positively Covid-19 in Banskantha district for the past few days.
Battalion BSF 93 of 450 Jawan from Nagaland arrived at the Palanpur train station in Route Tharad and they were all tested according to the required BSF protocol in front of the post on the border.
“Initially, seven of the 450 were tested positive.
Further tests revealed that a total of 20 was infected,” said NK Garg, an epidemic medical officer, Banaskatha.garg said that all 20 asymptomatic and in good health.
“They are isolated in schools near the city of Tharad.
They are all fine,” Garg said.
