Kalyan: About 20 new prisoners tested positive for Covid-19 in Adharwadi prison.
The prisoners have recently been sent after orders for judges in various cases.
They were sent to the Thane civil hospital for treatment.
A doctor said they had mild symptoms.
Prison authorities said they used to take care of the suspects and patients covid-19 in the center of quarantine at Don Bosco school, nearby, but after school opened back in Maharashtra, the authorities ordered two barracks in the prison themselves.
