Gurgaon: The HSVP enforcement team destroys around 20 structures to clean a portion of the land included in the 81A and 82B road separation sector alignment.
After the work is completed, the road will increase connectivity to new sectors along the Dwarka toll road.
A team led by SDO (survey) of the land office – 1 HSVP (Gurgaon) Yashwant Yadav started the anti-encroachment drive from 1 noon and continued until evening.
About 20 structures, including car wash stations, a workshop, Godown building materials, vegetable shops, flower shops and furniture shops among others are returned near Rampura Chowk to clean the land that comes in the road alignment.
Junior Engineer Sandeep Lot said they had drives the demolition of about 10 days ago in the same area and the owner of this structure was given a week to clean the area.
When they fail to shift, the structure is destroyed.
In the last two months HSVP conducted several drives demolition to clean the land that came in the main road alignment of the new sector.
Many sectors along the Dwarka toll road do not have the right connectivity because of the road that is incomplete.
“We strive to clear encroachment that come in road alignment in new sectors to increase connectivity and complete incomplete roads,” Lot said.
Previously, HSVP had cleared a kilometer stretch to complete the construction of the 95A-95B road separation sector.
The road has been declared a national highway and will be handed over to Nhai.
