Rajkot: Native policemen like a probationer IPS officer had been injured following a tiff over ship accident took a communal twist in Nava Bandar jack at Una taluka of Gir-Somnath district on Sunday afternoon. The wounded cops contain authorities sub-inspector (PSI) Ketan Parmar, PSI H V Chudasama, helper sub-inspector (ASI) Kanchan Bhanji, constables Sandeep Solanki, Prakash Chavda along with Raju Gadhia. Una ASP, an IPS probationer, Om Prakash Jat was injured inside this rioting. Police also lobbed a number of tear gas shells to disperse the crowd that has been becoming violent. The FIR was surrounded by PSI Ketan Parmar from 1,500-2,000 individuals from the communities. At least 47 individuals were called in the FIR registered under different sections of Indian Penal Code (IPC) such as 307 (attempt to murder), 332, 333 (voluntarily causing grievous harm to people slave ), 337, 338 (damaging with negligent act threatening human existence ), 143 (unlawful assembly), 147 and 148 (rioting). After the battle, a massive police team consisting of personnel from three local police channels at Una, Gir Gadhada along with Kodinar, in addition to in the neighborhood crime division and special operations team had hurried to control the Devil.
