Patna: A total of 14,924 attacks on the smuggling of illegal liquor, brewing, and consumption were carried out in the state of this year, according to Customer Commissioner B Kartikey Dhanji.
Of these, 3,436 was carried out by a ban, excise and the registration department and 11,488 by the Department of the house.
Overcoming Medoderpon here on Monday, Dhanji stated that a total of 2,390 people were arrested in the case of this year’s prohibition.
“The department sets the target of Rs 3,420 Crore for the Fiscal Year 2021-2022, starting April 1 to December 31, where RS 3,432 Crore Revenue has been collected on December 24,” Commissioner said.
Dhanji claims that the search operation on illegal liquor on the train is ongoing, such as a 24×7 vehicle inspection drive at the checkpoint.
“Continuous raids are being carried out on home delivery vendors and various businesses.
During this attack, at all 85,425 liters of liquor, both imported and domestic, has been confiscated,” he said, adding that 59 people who moved at home were also arrested and 316 Vehicles are confiscated.
Patna High Court (HC) has announced the appointment of a judicial officer as the main officer in 74 state special trials.
HC made this promise of a recommendation of prohibitions, the Excise Ministry and Registration in accordance with Bihar’s prohibition and Excise Act, 2016.
“Special Court has been established solely to hear cases involving prohibitions.
Four promises have been made in Patna, three on Style, each at Saharsa, Sheohar, and Sheikhpura, and two in each district left except Arwal, “Dhanji said during a press conference.
He also mentioned that the department would use drones to monitor illegal liquor manufacturing at Bihar.
The trial in this case was done in the Digha area on Saturday where three companies participated.
“The flight distance of 10-15 km was carried out in Digha Ghat, and the night vision trial was conducted at Kangan Ghat.
Immediately, an organization will be chosen based on its performance,” Commissioner said.
Meanwhile, the prohibition, the Excise Ministry and Registration have initiated the bidding process to digitize documents from 1950 to 1995.
“After digitizing, the department will have a lot of convenience in making document records available for the general public as soon as possible,” said Dhanji, directing all Registration officer to provide registered documents that are delayed to the regional office and parties relating to January 15, 2022 or destroy it according to the rules.
