New Delhi: Tata Motors on Wednesday launched the NRG variant of Tiago Hatchback.
Tiago NRG will be available on a 1.2-liter gasoline engine with a 5-speed manual and automatic variant each of Rs 6.46 lakh and Rs 7.09 Lakh (former showroom).
Tiago NRG was stopped during the BS4 transition to BS6.
With a 4 star security rating by GNCAP, this vehicle will be launched in 4 colors – green green, red fire, white snow, cloudy gray.
Mechanically, the NRG variant is 10 mm higher than the usual variant with 181 mm Ground Clearance.
The NRG edition is also a muscular body cladding.
The interior gets a black hut and NRG packs 7 inch touch infotainment.
Connectivity suite including Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
In terms of security, Tiago NRG gets 2 airbags, ABS + EBD, inverted parking sensors and cameras, and corner stability controls.
NRG will come with a 2 year / 75,000 km warranty.
Tata Tiago NRG will compete with the Hyundai Grand I10 Nios and Maruti Suzuki Swift.
