Maruti Suzuki was in work introducing a facelift for Baleno on February 23, and the video teaser revealed the addition of new features called Head-Up Display (HUD) was released by the company a few days ago.
We also exclusively reveal some of the new features of the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Baleno facelift, including a 360-degree camera, a 9-inch touch screen infotainment system and Suzuki technology connects with Alexa’s voice command.
Now, Maruti Suzuki has released another teaser video from the facelift 2022 Baleno which reveals the stand-alone ‘smartplay pro +’ infotainment unit.
The infotainment system will also display the sense of surround supported by Arkamys.
Apple Carplay and Android Automatic connectivity has been offered with Baleno at the moment, but the facelift is likely to offer wireless support for both platforms.
It should be noted that the full equipment list of 2022 Baleno has not been disclosed.
However, it is safe to assume that a new model will be much better equipped than set to be replaced.
Upon arrival, Baleno Facelifted will continue to become the most superior Maruti Suzuki car in the market.
This will help Maruti Suzuki hatch into the neck and neck against people like Hyundai I20 and Altroz as far as features.
Traditionally, Baleno has trailed i20 in terms of features but this time around the gap is set to reduce significantly.
That said, New Baleno still won’t get Sunroof, which is a very popular feature between Indian buyers and offered at Hyundai I20.
Over the next few days, Maruti Suzuki is expected to reveal more new features because trying to build some momentum ahead of the price disclosed.
Pre-facelift Baleno is currently given a price from Rs 6.14 Lakh (former showroom) and so on, but we expect Palka to be more expensive after being updated.
However, it is still expected to weaken its biggest rivals – Hyundai i20.
