Varanasi: Covid-19 fresh waves have adopted a worrying trend in the district on Saturday because 21 more people were diagnosed positively in the last 24 hours took active case calculations of up to 46 days.
Detection of positive cases was also seen in neighboring districts such as Chandauli, where three people were tested positively.
In accordance with the daily medical bulletin of the Varanasi medical officer’s head, a total of 4,062 lab test reports were received until Saturday night at which 21 people including the nine 10-year-old men and boys reported positive Covid-19.

With the detection of 21 new positive cases, new case numbers detected since December 29 have risen to 46, which are in the active category.
Total cumulative figures Covid-19 positive has reached up to 82,454.
From them 81,635 have recovered.
Chandauli CMO Office Bulletin also confirmed testing three new positive cases including two women.
They all have local travel history and they have been infected in their workplace.
Officials said that people, who remained in their contacts were tracked while 1,114 new samples were sent to the lab.
The cumulative figure of the positive Covid-19 case in Chandauli was 16,214 where five active and 15,852 had recovered.
