Gurgaon: A 25-year-old prisoner, who was put forward in Bhondsi Prison, was found hanging from the tree on Wednesday in a prison spot.
However, family members have accused playing cheating, saying that he could be killed.
The deceased has been identified as Vijay PAL, and was booked two weeks ago because of persecuting a little girl in the Farukhnagar Gurgaon area.
On January 25, he was arrested from Jhajjar by Gurgaon police and sent to trial detention by the court.
According to prison officials, on Wednesday, Pal said that he felt unwell and was asked to consult a doctor at the prison hospital.
For this purpose, he opened from his cell.
But instead of going to the hospital, he hung himself from a tree in a prison premise with a wool shawl.
Then during the inspection round, prison officials saw him hanging from the tree.
He was first taken to a prison hospital and then to a civil hospital where the doctor stated he was taken dead.
Officials then told the Gurgaon police about the incident, which in turn, took the body to the corpse for Post-Mortem.Station House Officer (Sho) from the Bhondsi police station, Inspector Rajender, said that the body was brought to the first and corpse.
Then submit to the family after post-mortem.
“That is a suicide case,” he added.
PAL family members, however, accused playing cheating.
“He was fine when captured by the police.
He could not commit suicide, he was killed,” said one family member Paldr Deepak Mathur, Head of the Department of Forensic Civil Hospital, said that PAL had died of being hung.
