29, 852 students get a degree at the UOM 101 meeting

Mysuru: As in previous years, the 101st meeting from the University of Mysore (UOM) witnessed the academic advantage of students from disadvantaged partners.
Synosure of the Eyes on Tuesday at the Convoary event was Latha HN, a visual disabled student who secured a gold medal at Ma Kannada.
Madalambik TS, which secured 10 gold medals and four cash prizes, lost his father three years ago and came from remote villages and poor families.
He was supported by his sister, who was a teacher, to pursue higher education.
Datha, who is blind by birth is BA, and a bed graduate.
He joined Ma on Kannada two years ago.
“Technology helped me to study the subject.
I typed on the computer using Font Nudi.
Now, I have launched my own YouTube channel Nudi Thorana where I posted a video about preparation for competitive checks.
I have uploaded 12 videos,” he said.
Residents of Handithavalli Village near Ravandur in Periyapatna Taluk, Latha’s parents are wage workers every day.
“My sister Jayashri, Father Nagaraju, and Mrs.
Radha supported my studies.
They never said that it was not on whatever I dreamed of,” he said.
“At the time of the Covid-19 crisis, my friend and sister helped me in my studies.
They sent recorded records that help me a lot, “he said.
He studied at the center of UOM PG, Chamarajanagar.
“Since my childhood, I dreamed of chasing Ma in Kannada.
Three years ago, my father died.
He wants me to secure a gold medal.
Today, I realized his dream.
My sister, who is a teacher, and my mother is a pillar of my strength,” He said.
Chaitra Narayan Hegde, who secured 20 gold medals and four cash prizes at MSc Chemistry hoped to pursue research at IISC, Bengaluru.
Chaitra, who derived from Sirsion Taluk in Uttara Kannada District, pursued his BSC at Yuvaraja’s College in the city.
“I will pursue my PhD and continue the research,” he said the gold medalist, who really wanted to be named, said he joined the Supreme Court because he did not get a job after pursuing professional courses.
“Even now, I’m looking for a job,” he said.
Like 29, 852 students – 9,734 men and 20,118 women awarded titles.
The majority of the winners of the gold medal and PhD recipients attended the event with their family members.
However, the number of foreign students is less time because many cannot attend the event because of the Covid-19 situation that applies
