Thane: A total of 297 people were arrested for driving in December 31 by Traffic Police Thane during late at night driving across 22 units under police Thane Comperions directly from Kopri to Badlapur.
Apart from the drunk driver, the traffic police also found 131 people who accompanied drunk drivers and ordered them for reductions under 188 years (disobedience to order correctly announced by civil servants.) IPC.
The traffic department claimed that the police examined the alcohol level of drunken violators who were allegedly followed the SOP for Covid-19.
They have a PPE kit and use disposable nozzles to test the alcohol level through the Breathalyzer engine and recording it.
Fortunately there were no undesirable accidents reportedly on December 31, said Patilbalbalab, DCP traffic.
