Shimla: After successfully managing the first dose and both Covid-19 vaccines into the population who qualify with toppings in the country, Himachal Pradesh has now prepared to cover the group of 15 to 18 years under the Covid vaccination program.

Secretary (Health) Amitabh Awasthi led the State Task Force Committee meeting for Covid Vaccination at Shimla on Thursday.
He reviewed preparations for Covid vaccination from the 15 to 18-year-old group and the dose of prudence for 60 years and above with comorbidity.
Amitabh Awasthi said that according to the decision of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Covid-19 Vaccination of children in the age group 15 to 18 will begin from January 3.
He said that the beneficiaries of this group will be given Covaxin.
Children who qualify from this age group can order an appointment by self-registration through an existing account on co-Win or by creating a new account through the cellphone number.
Online appointment or in place (walk-in) can also be ordered in the nearest high school government and high school.
He said that the medical staff of the Ministry of Health, staff from the Rural Development Department, the Ministry of Education in addition to workers Anganwadi would be deployed at school for vaccination programs.
