Thane: The anti-narcotics cell of the Crime Thane branch has confiscated 36kg of marijuana worth Rs 8.2 lakh of the three alleged drug drivers traveling in the autorickshaw in Mumbai -Nashik Highway.
Based on the tip-off, on October 21 night, the ANC officer put a trap on the road to Kharegaon-Mumbra and stopped the Autorickshaw.
They are looking for vehicles and found 35.9kg marijuana filled in the package.
ANC arrested three men in the vehicle – a vehicle Anis Shaikh, Laike Yunus Siddiqui, and the driver of Kalim Salim Shaikh, all the residents of Nashik – and ordered them under the relevant parts of the drugs of narcotics and psychotropic substances ACT 1985.
Allegations allegedly told by the police that they teach drugs for sale.
The case has been registered with three accused accused at the Kalwa police station.
