Vadodara: Three workers in the pharmaceutical unit in Pratappura near Halol on Jalan Raya Godhra received serious burns after a large explosion occurred in one of the factory reactors around 11am on Saturday.
The explosion was very loud that it was heard in the area around the unit that led to panic.
Police personnel and firefighters reached the location and rushed three injured workers – Ratan Gohil, Viral Virpura and Piyush Patel – all Halole residents to the hospital with primary care.
They were then taken to Vadodara saw the extensive burns they received in the incident.
Closure notice was issued to the factory after the explosion.
