Lucknow: Three sisters in the 5-9 age group died in mysterious state in the Bareli Rae District for two days.
Mr.
Naveen Kumar Singh girls claimed they were all consuming biscuits and namkeees, following their illness and death.
The deceased was identified as Pihu (5), Pari (7) and Vidhi (9), all unchahar residents.
Describing the order of events, police supervisors, Rae Bareli, Shlok Kumar, said that the incident was revealed on Saturday afternoon when several villagers told the police that two children who died were given the last ritual.
“A police team was immediately sent to the spot and released the two bodies and sent him for autopsy,” Kumar said.
Autopsy cannot confirm the cause of death, while Viscera has been preserved.
There were no injuries found in their bodies, said SP.
After that, their other sisters also died at the district hospital on Sunday.
“We asked all family members from died girls and their father,” SP said.
A team of forensic experts was sent to their homes to take food samples consumed by girls.
Meanwhile, Naveen Kumar Singh told Newsmen last week he returned to his village at Rae Bareli from Bhopal for Dussehra.
“On Friday, my three daughters ate Namkee, biscuits and then at night they began to complain about nausea and vomiting followed by abdominal pain,” Singh said.
“We took the three NTPC hospitals that referred them to the district hospital.
Pari and Vidhi were declared dead while Pihu was treated and died on Sunday,” Singh said.
