Mangaluru: Although the majority of schools in Dakshina Kannada have recognized a number of good students of this academic year, 33 schools have admitted under 10 students.
About 22 government schools have 10 students acknowledging, followed by without assistance, assisted and schools belonging to the Tribal Welfare Department.
A total of 16 schools have zero acceptance for class I.Cording to the data available with TOI, in 2021-22, the boundary of the Sullia Beo has the highest number of schools, with eight schools registering under 10 reception.
Of the eight, only one that was not paid and the rest was a government school.
This was followed by the South Beo Mangaluru boundary with seven schools.
At least five schools do not have students who recognize class I.
Two schools without special assistance only have one and three total acceptance.
Bantwal has five schools with 10 reception below 10.
The boundary of North Beo Mangaluru only has two schools with less than 10 reception.
The majority of government schools with bad reception are lower elementary schools.
However, the Ministry of Public Instruction has emphasized that schools with less than 10 students claimed they would not join the nearest school.
“We will maintain the status quo.
However, additional teachers from these schools have been priced by other institutions,” said a senior school official.
“Some schools have received bad reception from several years, and parents don’t prefer these schools when they feel that they don’t have the right environment for their children,” the official said.
In 2018, the Dakshina Kannada district had 35 schools recorded under 10 years recorded below 10.
Acceptance, and the number increased to 42 in 2019, and last year 33 schools recorded poor reception.
“Acceptance below 10% at school is also a sign that the school is almost in the closing threshold.
The administration will find a plan to save them, and try to increase the number of students who recognize in it,” said Sudhakar K, DDPI, Dakshina Kannada.
