Mumbai / Dehradun: Mumbai Cybercrime police investigated the case of ‘Bicli Bai’ application captured by Mayank Praying (21), a BSc (Chemistry) student in Zakir Hussain College at Delhi University, from his home in the city of Puri Garhwal on Wednesday.
His father is in the Indian Army and is currently posted at Jammu.
This is the third arrest in this case.
Previously, Shweta Singh (18), a class XII passout, was arrested from Uttarakhand and Vishal Kumar Jha (21), a young man Bihar, was arrested from Bengaluru where he was studying techniques.
Police sources said that Twitter ‘binti Bai’ handle was created by Singh and had five followers, including care and Jha (he used two handles).
Police are now looking for application creators and two other followers of Singh’s Twitter handle.

The controversy exploded on January 1 when several Muslim women found themselves “auctioned” on the ‘Bulli Bai’ application held by GitHub.
This application is also being promoted by the Twitter handle with the name @bullibai, with a picture of the support of Khalistani supporters.
The case of this application was submitted by Mumbai police on the same day.
Police said the care had created his Twitter account in 2020 and communicated with Handle @ Giyu @ 007, the same person – National Nepal identified only as Giyou – who had been friends with social media.
A police source told Tii, “Rawatt, in his statement, said on December 31, 2021, @ Giyu @ 007, during the chat, sent it the GitHub platform link and asked him to take as many screens ‘bicli bai)’ app and add to the social media timeline So they can incite people and attract more followers.
“Rattles allegedly have photos and details of Muslim women from various social media platforms without their consent and upload them in the application.
He used various Twitter handles to circulate these photos.
“On January 1, he took at least eight screenshot and posted it on his Twitter handle.
On January 3, he tried to remove the post, but it was late so he deactivated his account,” the source said.
Police Mumbai Cybercrime has confiscated his cellphone and takes a screenshot.
“The BILLI Bai application was made by some unknown people known as Trio,” said Police Commissioner Mumbai Hemant Nagrlye.
“The intention behind the right motives of the application is unclear.
So far, we did not find any money transactions in the activities of those captured,” added Nagrery.
