Lucknow: One more Zika virus patient, a 48-year-old woman from Lal Kuan, was found in Lucknow on Friday night.
Two positive Zika patients were diagnosed on Thursday.
The three patients were not related to each other and did not have a travel history before contracting the disease.
The two patients were diagnosed on Thursday including a 24-year-old woman from Lda Colony Kanpur Road and a 32-year-old man from Phoolbagh at Hussinganj.
The sample of the 48-year-old woman was also taken as part of a randomized sampling of the district health department for the Zika virus after a surge in the case reported from Kanpur.
Complaining of lightweight fever, he had visited a civil hospital from SPM on November 10 after that he became showing symptoms with drugs.
“The woman did not have a history of the trip, but she put up the kiosk while outside her home during Diwali who could explain it to the infected mosquitoes.
He was asymptomatic and at his home,” said District Supervision Officer Dr Milind Vardhan.
Meanwhile the Ministry of Health collected a sample of 106 people who live near or work with two first Zika patients.
This sample is sent for testing.
While the patient of the woman was said to be fine, the male patient who went to Ambedkarnagar because he did not show symptoms and did not know the status of his report until Thursday, returned to Lucknow on Friday.
“Chief of the Head of the Medical (CMO) Chiefkarnagar has been told about the presence of the patient and that he must be contained in the district itself.
But he returned to Lucknow on Friday.
It is important that Zika’s patient movement is limited,” said Dr.
Vardhan.
The third renewal of the patient is now taken by the district health team both on land and through telephone communication.
“Virus travels from one place to another.
Because there are often visitors between Lucknow and Kanpur, the last currently most influenced by Zika in the state, it is possible that the virus travels from Kanpur itself through one or other sources.
This is Humans for human transmitted viruses caused by vectors who are mosquitoes, “Dr.
Vardhan explained when asked whether the virus was present in the Lucknow atmosphere regardless of contact with Kanpur.
