Mandya: A 16-year-old girl, who was in a deep trauma after her boyfriend was allegedly beaten to death by his family five months ago, allegedly hanging herself in Balamandir (go home) at Kallahalli layout at Mandya, on Tuesday.
The head, the victim, who his parents and relatives were in prison on charges of killing his girlfriend, found depending on the restroom.
Parents of little girls and 15 others allegedly hit her 17-year-old girlfriend to death in April, suspecting she had an affair with her.
The police have arrested the victim’s girl’s father, who is a member of the board and the other.
All have undergone Jadicial custody since then.
The victim reportedly refused to live with his relatives after the incident and instead chose to live in Balamandir which was run by the Department of Women and Child Welfare.
The victim’s girl was said to be depressed after the murder of her boyfriend and her parents were in detention.

The authorities in Balamandir said that he was under psychiatric care.
The case has been registered at the West Mandya Police Station.
