43% of vaccine receivers in Gujarat under 44 years

Ahmedabad: On July 30, Gujarat became the third country in India to cross the first 2.5 covid-19 vaccination crore.
In fact, the month was marked by maximum vaccination so far around 75 lakh – 22% of the total vaccination so far since the drive began in January this year.

In addition, the Cowin Dashboard revealed that vaccinations in rural areas have increased in the country – against the dose of 1.27 lakh given in urban areas, 1.49 lakh recorded in rural areas.
Among the cities, Ahmedabad had provided 29.27 lakh the first dose, and 9.08 lakh second dose, produced 31% of vaccine takers fully vaccinated.
