Hyderabad: Covid-19 cases recorded a large leap in Telangana with cases up from 274 on Sunday to 482 within 24 hours.
This is the first time a new case violates the 400 mark in the past two months.
The total trophy of the Omicron case is currently standing at 84, while Omicron recovered patients are 37 so far.
Overall, 23 samples were collected from RT-PCR passengers at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport (RGIA) Shamshabad was sent for genome sequencing and a total of 53 samples were waiting for the report.

The GHMC area saw 294 new cases on Monday while Medchal-Malkajjiri adjacent to 48 cases, Rangeddy recorded 55 and Sangareddy recorded three new cases.
Mahabubabad with 18 new cases saw the highest infection among other districts.
