New Delhi: The lower bus depot of construction in Tikri has turned into a temporary shelter for farmer agitators.

Swiman Singh, a cardiac specialist from California who had started a free medical center there, finally emptied on Saturday.
Leaving a three-year fellowship in New Jersey, USA, Dr.
Singh camped on the border of Tikri for a year.
“I learned about the protest punjab farmers on the border of Delhi and joined it thought I would spend only five days there,” Singh said.
But after reaching Tikri, I decided to stay.
With the help of several voluntary doctors, we started with free check-up and distribution of medicines.
But when Covid crashed into the city, our role became important.
We distribute masks, providing oxygen concentrators, and guiding people in getting proper treatment when they show symptoms of covid.
We also help farmers will be vaccinated.
