Greater Noida: In positive developments, some senior residents living in Greater Noida have shown interest in outdoor activities.
Ending the Membership Process of the Pathik Singh Shaheed Vijay Sports Complex, the Regional Development Authority is scheduled to add 149 new lifetime members where 53 is over 60.
Officials say that with new additions, the number of members of a lifetime is now more than 800.
Individuals must pay Rs 1 lakh for life membership fees and 18% GST.
Membership for senior citizens is offered at Rs 8,000 plus taxes.
This time, sports fans who live in Greater Noida will be able to enjoy swimming in the stadium complex too.
Gnida officials said that once the government raised its restrictions from the pool, swimming pools designed with international standards will be opened for members.
Even though the pool was preparing in 2020, it was not used because of a pandemic.
The main swimming pool is 50 meters long and 25 meters wide and has a depth of 7 feet.
In addition to swimming pools, other facilities and arenas are also designed according to international standards.
“The squash court is also ready now,” said an officer.
Apart from the Cricket Stadium, this complex also has a soccer field, tennis court, soccer field, basketball, table tennis and volleyball facilities.
Residents Omicron 3, Wamik Jamal said, “The cost for senior citizens makes sense.
