New Delhi: Dengue Case continues to increase in the city with 53 new cases reported last week, taking the total number to 211, according to the South Delhi corporate report.
South corporation is a nodal body to sow data related to diseases transmitted through vectors in the city.
Civil bodies claim to have made a clinic in testing dengue / malaria fully operational fever and recalled staff deployed in vaccination centers to help hospitals or previous polyclinics.
“Fever clinic, located in each colony, took blood slides for malaria testing.
In South Delhi, we have 27 fever clinics under the Ministry of Health Public Health.
Also, there are 14 serology centers to carry out blood tests in people who have symptoms of dengue fever and Chikungunya.
Doctors in the centers usually suggest them with high fever, other symptoms to test, “said an SDMC official.
In Delhi Timur, there are four fever clinics in two zones.
“All precautions are taken to check the spread of transmitted diseases through vectors in the border area,” said an East Corporate official.
Meanwhile, the number of Chikungunya cases reported in Delhi rose to 44.
