Rajkot: Postmortem of a 53-year-old girl who had been found dead on Sunday morning nearby Gunda village in the outskirts of Rajkot, confirmed on Monday that she died of accidents. Authorities have arrested the husband of the deceased when he disclosed to police he had thrashed his wife Manjula Vasava on Friday evening after an altercation on food. Manjula had abandoned the home following the quarrel.Manjula along with her husband Bharat Wasava functioned as agricultural labourers to a plantation owned by Devsi Kakadia from Kuvadava village. The couple was residing in Kuvadava to the last calendar year. “On Friday evening, Bharat had a debate with Manjula over meals and overcome her up with a rod. Manjula left the home after the struggle on Sunday morning that she had been discovered dead. We’ve arrested Bharat and questioning him. She might have died because of the injuries due to Bharat’s beating, and” police said.Police are anticipating the last postmortem report prior to submitting an FIR in the situation.
