Kanpur: Chhatrapati University Shahuji Maharaj held the 36th Convocation ceremony on Wednesday.
Governor and Chancellor of State University, Patel Anandiben and the guest chief on the occasion of Rajya Sabha members Dr.
Sudhanshu Trivedi inaugurated the ceremony.
Special guest is the Minister of State for Higher Education, Science and Technology Neelima Katiyar.
During the convocation, 45 PhD students were given the title by the Governor and a total of 86 medals were given to 55 students aged 36 years.
The governor gave a PhD (Honorary Causa) to Dr.
Sudhanshu Trivedi.
Overcoming students, the governor, who also led the ceremony said, “We must pay attention to the health and study of women.” He said, the new 2020 educational policy would increase student character and develop work skills.
The governor said that every part of society must raise their voices to the practice of dowry and child marriage.
He said that every gram of Pradhan must ensure that their village is free of TB, free malnutrition, and timely funds must be available for pregnant women.
In his speech, Rajya Sabha MP Dr.
Sudhanshu Trivedi said that the meeting was an important aspect of students.

Vinay Kumar Pathak said that the CSJM University was the first to successfully implement new education policies – 2020 and 26 new vocational courses had begun here.
CSJMu has adopted 30 children suffering from TB, said VC added that MP Sudhanshu Trivedi had given Rs 50 Lakh to the university.
On that occasion, the ‘DigiLocker’ application was launched to maintain student mark sheets, certificates, degrees, and migration certificates, digitally safely.
Application, ‘Kishori application’ was also launched at the meeting.
With this application, female students can get information about their physical and mental health and all health related information.
The university also released a book that introduced most of the recipients of Padma Shri as her first publication.
In this book, information about the winner of the last three years has been compiled.
