Chennai: Health Minister Tamil Nadu Ma Subramanian on Saturday said 60% of the population of Chennai had received the second shot of the Covid-19 vaccine while 85% had received the first.
Overcoming the reporter in Chennai during the 14th mega vaccination drive inspection detained throughout the state, the Minister of Health said the city coverage of the second dose was higher than the state, which was 48.95%.
The Civic body was vaccinated by 19.71 lakh people, for 13 mega vaccination camps held before, added Subramanian.
