City: Rural City Police on Friday night arrested a 63-year-old man for allegedly made the simplicity of a 10-year-old woman at her grocery store in the city of Sangod, a day back.
They produced it before a local court on Saturday which ordered him to send him to justy with Judicial custody.
The defendant was identified as Tejpal Khangar (63), a resident of Pamlakhedi Villager under the police station Sangod, who runs a grocery store in Sangod City.
“The girl’s father was on Thursday night approaching Sangod police station and submitted a report stating that he had sent a small daughter to a grocery store in the city to buy ‘bleach’ at around 8:30 a.m.,” said Kavendra Singh Sagar).
“Father further accused the owner of the grocery store Tejpal Khangar, instead of giving him ‘bleach’, offering him chocolate and took him into the shop, where he began touching his inappropriate daughter.
He refused and ran out of shopping screaming hard until his house , where he told the incident to his parents, “SP next.
In the report, the police submitted a case against Tejpal below the part 354 IPC and 7/8 of the Pocso law and launched an investigation, he added.
“The minor survivor statement under Section 164 was recorded on Friday after the team led by Sho Rajesh Soni arrested the defendant at the same night and on Saturday produced it before the court ordered him to send him a prison,” SP (rural) said.
