Vadodara: The Chhota udepur district dominated by the tribe achieved the first dose of Covid-19 vaccines throughout the population of 67 villages in the district on Monday.
Sankheda Taluka from the district has the highest vaccination because 25 villages are vaccinated by 15 and 13 villages from Bodeli and Naswadi Taluka.
Nine Pavi Jetpur Taluka village, three villages in Kawant and two Chhota Udepur Taluka villages were also vaccinated.
Officials said that people experienced a misunderstanding of vaccination so that the different awareness program was carried out.
“Our health staff is used to visit remote villages and explain to people why vaccination is important so now people voluntarily advance to take vaccines,” said an official.
