Vadodara: Even as Vadodara City and Regency did not register the new Omicron variant on Sunday, continuing to witness a steady increase in Positive Covid-19 patients with 69 fresh cases registered from 5,524 samples tested in 24 hours ending on Sunday night.
With this, the total number of Covid-19 cases in Vadodara since the beginning of the pandemic had touched 72,870.
New cases have been reported from Jetalpur, Navapura, Bhayli, Siyabaug, Diwalipura, Swad, Gotri, Chhani, Subhanpura, Tandalja, Sama, Akota, Harni, Sudamapuri, Fatehpura, Gokulnagar, Manjalpur and Sevasi City.
Without deaths reported because Covid-19, the official death was established in 623.

Meanwhile, the number of patients with the Omicron variant stands at 23, where 20 has run out, leaving the health bulletin distributed by the state government.
