Nagpur: The residential area in seven of the 52 new wards has been split between different assembly constituencies, which may cause confusion, discomfort for people and the difficulty of providing funds.
Nagpur Corporation (NMC) has received 122 suggestions and objections to the draft environmental restrictions until Monday which is the last day.
Hearing will be held on February 21.
Six objections have been submitted for the division of the ward area in different assembly constituencies.
In accordance with the details given in the objection and draft restrictions on ward, in Ward 1 and 15 several regions are the constituency of assembly of Western Nagpur while the majority are the constituency of North Nagpur.
Likewise, most areas in Ward 8 are North Nagpur and several regions in East Nagpur.
Ward 35 has several regions of the constituency of Western Nagpur while the majority of the southwestern Nagpur region.
Ward 34 has several parts of the Nagpur Center and the majority of the southwestern Nagpur region.
West Nagpur Mla Vikas Thakre told Toi, “There are various defects in environmental restrictions and one of them is the distribution of the assembly constituency area.
About 1,000 houses in the constituency area I have added to Ward 1 in North Nagpur.
With the norm, I can provide funds Only to houses located in my electoral district.
“In accordance with Thakre,” disabled “will create confusion and people who lose funds will be angry with the legislator.
“Also, people have to travel a huge distance to meet corporators or go to the zone office,” he said.
It also tends to cause conflict between the legislators of the same party.
Legislator said in distributing tickets for civil polls.
Also, houses in one locality have been divided between two wards.
Fifteen corporators from the main political parties – BJP, Congress, Shiv Sena, NCP and BSP – have filed objections and suggestions.
Kishor Kumeriya Corporator from Shiv Sena said, “The houses in Chitnis Nagar and Dhanvantri Nagar have been divided between 29 and Ward 48 wards.
This means that these areas will have two different corporators.” “Another big mistake is that the obstacles have been damaged.
Highway National Umred is considered the main barrier.
The two areas on the left side of the highway have been added at Ward 48 have most of the region on the right side of the road.
These areas should be in Ward 29,” Kumeriya said.
The NCP group leader Duneshwar Pete has the same complaint.
“The inner ring road and the Nag River are two main obstacles.
Areas on the two sides of the ring in the ring and the NAG River are in Ward 27.
It will cause serious problems for people and the Canporator in providing civil facilities,” said Pethe.
