Pune: In a second dose of vaccination against Covid-19 saw a surge in the district, the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has recorded a double vaccination at least 75% of the target population, the report states the district health office recently.
PMC has crossed vaccinate 100% of the first dose.
PMC has recorded double vaccination of at least 22.81 lakh beneficiaries against the target total 30 lakh population until December 9th.
Unit Peune Rural and Pimpri-Chinchwad has recorded double vaccination respectively 59% and 66% of the target population, the report states.
Sanjay Deshmukh, Assistant Director (Medical), Pune Circle, said, “After the success of the vaccination first dose of 100%, our next target was fixed quickly vaccination doubles throughout the district.

Sanjay Patil, Chairman of the Hospital Board of India, Pune Chapter, said that in order to show a good PMC vaccinated first and second doses, private hospitals have the lion’s share of the play.
During May, June and July, the private hospital serving the vaccination is paid citizens, which in turn eased the burden on the site free vaccination, he said.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the district recorded the vaccination around 43 578 beneficiaries in all regions of the district government and private vaccination until 8 pm.
District now has a total of 1.41 crore doses Covishield, Covaxin and Sputnik V.
of them, 84.54 lakh is the first dose and the second dose was 57.17 lakh.
