Ranchi: Senior Police Supervisor (SSP) Surindra Jha has shifted around 750 police personnel, who were involved in VIP’s security tasks, administrative and political offices and police offices for more than two years, to the district.
Official sources say JAWANS in Security of the Union Minister of Arjun Munda, CM Hemant Soren, MP and Used CM Shibu Soren, MPT Sanjay Seth, Finance Minister Rameshwar Oroan, Used CM and BJP MLA Babulal Marandi, Former Deputy CM and AJSU-P Mla Sudesh Mahto, Inspector General, Deputy Inspector General, SSP, police supervisor, SPS deputy, court, airport, police station and other places have been transferred.
In its circumstances, SSP said there had been dissatisfaction between personnel in general because they served in the same place for several years.
He further said in many cases, personnel developed close relationships with local residents, which are not right from the lawpost of law and order.
He also mentioned that SP (countryside) had issued a letter about the need for direct displacement of police personnel posted in one place for a long time.
The SSP added that the personnel transferred must join their new place without delay and sergeant majors from the police must ensure the implementation of orders and report back in 15 days.
