Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 7,555 positive cases of 73,157 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 6,369 people had taken vaccinations, 2,375 had taken both doses, and 2,103 did not even take a single dose.
The current total active case is 87,593, where 10% of people are accepted both in hospitals or other care centers.
The state also reported 74 Covid deaths, took associated victims to 26,865.
At the same time, 10,773 patients have recovered from this disease.
Among new cases, 7,162 cases have been infected through local deployment.

Thrissur reported the highest number of cases with 998, followed by Ernakulam (975), Thiruvananthapuram (953), Kozhikode (746), Kollam (604), Kannur (604), 446), Malappuram (414 ), Pathanamthitta (377), Idukki (365), Palakkad (345), Alappuzha (303), Wayanad (271) and Kasaragod (131).
There are 3,11,361 people currently observing in various districts, where 3.01.156 is in their homes or institutional quarantine center and 10,205 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 211 wards in 158 local bodies have more than 10% WIPR.
