Mangaluru: Nearly 77 students studying in various institutes of the Institute in Sutia have been tested positively Covid-19 in the last 10 days.
All students have been hospitalized, said Dr.
Ashok H, Nodal Officer for Covid-19, Dakshina Kannada.
On Wednesday, the surveillance officer Dr.
ASHOK H and District Dr.
Jagadish visited all universities and interacted with the principal and administrator.
District officers on a two-day visit to Sullia, look for an explanation from the college head, wherever college failed to comply with the Covid protocol.
Meanwhile, Dakshina Kannada District recorded 217 Covid-19 cases, with a 2% positioning level.
Six deaths have been reported and the district has 2,780 active cases.
The Udupi district recorded 130 Covid-19 cases and three deaths, where two deaths were reported from Kundapur.
The total active case is 1,586.
