Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 7,955 positive cases from 79,722 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 6,705 people have taken vaccinations, 2,561 has taken doses and 2.176 has not even taken a single dose.
The test level of the test is 0.97%.
The current total active case is, 885, where 9.8% of people are accepted both in hospitals or other care centers.
Meanwhile, 57 Covid deaths were reported, taking dead in the country to 26,791.

Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases with 1,280, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (985), Kozhikode (937), Thrissur (812), Kolllayam (514), Kollam (500), Palakkad (438), Malappuram (438)), Pathanamthitta (431) , Kannur (420), Alappuzha (390), Wayanad (217) and Kasaragod (117).
There are 3,14,640 people currently observing in various districts, where 3,04,170 is in their homes or institutional quarantine center and 10,404 in isolation in hospitals.
In accordance with the weekly infection population ratio, 211 wards in 158 local bodies have more than 10% WIPR.
