Greater Noida: The family of the six villages affected by the plane plane project will gather at the location of rehabilitation and resettlement (RNR) in Jiwar Bangar Township on Saturday morning to suppress their demands.
About 450 families still have certain problems that remain unresolved, where 70 to 80 families live in their home villages without power and water connections.
They claim that many benefits under the rehabilitation scheme have not been forwarded to them.
The villagers, in fact, camping under a damaged house, tent or tarpaulin.
Most of them live in Nagla Shareef Khan and Nagla Ganeshi, with several camping in Rohi too.
In the absence of electricity, their lives are similar to those who live in refugee camps with minimum resources.
Hasan Mohammad, 41, from Nagla Shareef Khan is one of the villagers.
He claimed that the benefits because his son Nasruddin had not been offered under the RNR scheme.
Even though an adult member of the family who was moved qualified for RS 5 Lakh and a plot, Nasruddin had not received money or other benefits.
The team was formed to overcome the complaints of impacted villagers had rejected the claim by demanding Nasruddin as minors.
Under the RNR scheme and land acquisition laws, benefits can be offered only for adults.
To determine the feasibility of adults, the authorities maintain November 3, 2018, as the cut-off date.
Although the Aadhaar Nasruddin card showed a date of birth as February 5, 2018, he was not found to be eligible for the RNR scheme.
“He was not present in the village for the first two surveys.
He was rather slow and most remained under someone’s supervision,” his father said.
Likewise in the early 40s, Shiv Kumar remained back in Rohi.
“My four sons have not been offered the RNR allowance and plots.
We sent all documents to the official team visiting our village in July.
Some of the remaining children included but my sons were shown as outsiders by the team,” he said.
Complaints relating to the benefits of the RNR scheme from several others from Nagla Shareef Khan, Nagla Ganeshi and Rohi like Fakruddin, Haseena and Harpal also remain unsolved.
When contacted, the judge of the gambling sub-division, Rajni Kant said, “We will visit the RNR site on Saturday morning.
We will make a list of families who have complaints.
Even though we have already thrown out complaints in July, the original appeared problem will be checked again.”
