Jaipur: City, which is the center of the current surge, witnessed the growth of Covid cases that had never been before.
More than 90 regions have reported cases with Vaishali Nagar lead chart with maximum infection.
Some other affected areas are Sodala, Jhotwara, Jalan Ajmer, Jawahar Nagar, Tonk Road and Shastri Nagar.
In just two days, Vaishali Nagar has reported 225 cases, while Jhotwara reported 169 followed by Sodala (155), Ajmer Road (114) and Jawahar Nagar (101).
Health Department officials said Vaishali Nagar Cover reported more cases because they were spread in a wider area.
“Not only playing Vaishali Nagar, but also the closest area like Garden Rangoli, Sirsi Road also reported the case,” said Dr.
Narrettam Sharma, Chief Medical Health Officer (Jaipur-I).
Active cases have now increased to 7,545 with 1,866 people infected with a virus.
As of December 31, the state has reported 98 cases, and has since reported 192, 224, 414, 745, 1138, 1439 and 1,866 cases with every day passing.
Health department officials say people need to remain vigilant and take precautions to counteract infected risk.
