AICC appointed Rajesh Thakur as the new Jharkhand Congress head

Ranchi: Less than a month after the controversy of trading horses erupted, the leadership of the Congress on Wednesday night overthrew the Jharkhand unit which continued to President Rameshwar Oraon and named one of his deputies as a replacement.
The Oraon Septuagenarian, Minister of Finance in the cabinet of the Chair of the Minister of Hemant Soren, was replaced by Rajesh Thakur aged 49 years.
Thakur is one of the five work presidents who reported to Oraon.
The Secretary General of AICC KC Venugopal, in his letter, placed Thakur at the jharkhand matters with direct effects and appreciated Oraon for his contribution during his task for two years.
Along with Oraon, four other work presidents – Kamlesh Kumar Mahto, Irfan Ansari, Manas Sinha and Sanjay Lal Paswan – also overthrown.
The place they were taken by Singhbhum MP Geeta Koda (former wife of CM Madhu Koda), Mandar Mla Bandhu Tirkey (former Minister of State Education), Jaleshwar Mahto and Shahzada Anwar (former prospective party of Rajya Sabha last year).
“It is an honor for me that the national leadership of the party has provided ordinary yogyakarta like me the opportunity to lead.
My focus will strengthen the organization at grassroots, bring cohesion in the rank and party files and bring the party forward in the state,” said Thakur told toi by telephone from New Delhi.
Oraon, an IPS officer – a politician who changed, who also served as Chair of the National SC / ST Commission, will imitate the office after two years.
Submit a stick leadership after leaving Joy Kumar who was in a hurry after Lok Sabha Polles 2019, Oraon led the grand party for his biggest victory in the Jharkhand Assembly poll by bagging 16 seats after fighting with JMM and RJD.

While there were voices of differences of opinion in the ranking party with him holding two posts, hatred in MLA and horsetrading ranks more deteriorating in the ranks.
Thakur, former NSUI leader at Delhi University, rose in the party ranking and became the Head of the Bokaro District Congress.
He was appointed as chairman of the party media cell during the term of office of the former Head of Sukhdeo State Congress Bhagat in 2016.
