Rajkot: Five people were ordered to search the entrepreneur’s office in Kota Kutch Gandhidham on Wednesday night allegedly recovering debts.
According to police, Bharat Shah (55), who was involved in coal trade, filed a complaint against Darshak Dholakia and four of his ajuds to search his son’s office and issued a threat to him for recovery of loan money.
Shah police complaints stated that a few months ago, he had borrowed Rs 35 Lakh from one gadhvi spoam and then paid off Rs 15 Lakh.
The next complaint stated that Gadhvi had asked Dholakia to recover Rs 15 Lakh from Shah.
“On Wednesday, Dholakia and his men entered the Shah’s son’s office in Gandhidham and ransacked him.
They stole CCTV, hard disks and other items from the office,” police said.
Office Boy told Shah about the attack, who immediately called Gadhvi.
But Gadhvi threatened Shah and told him to pay Rs 1.75 Crore or face the consequences, the police said.
