Rajkot: Two 22-year-old students sank at a lake near Sihor Town from the Bhavnagar district on Thursday afternoon.
According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Nikki Bhatt, a resident of Vallabhipur City from the Botan District and Jagdish Makwana, a resident of Bhavnagar.
Nikki, a third year trade student in Bhavnagar went to a temple near Sihor with his friends Jagdish and the others for the Joyride.
“There is a lake adjacent to the temple.
Nikki was reported to stand on the edge of the lake when he accidentally fell into the water.
Jagdish saw this and rushed to help but drowned in the water too.
Nikki’s body was arrested, while the search was restoring the body of Jagdish,” said The police.
