Hassan: The thief entered the businessman’s house when he left and made his way with gold, silver and diamonds worth RS 1.2 Crore and RS 24 Lakh cash in Hassan in the visvesvarayya extension on Tuesday night.
Entrepreneurs have been identified as Raghu.
According to the police, at the time of the incident – 6.30 a night – Raghu, his wife, son and mother-in-law had gone to his brother’s house in Chikkakondagula.
While his mother-in-law lived in his brother’s place, his wife went to City and Raghu went to drop his son at a center of coaching.
Then at 7:45 a.m., Brother-in-law Raghu called him by telephone and warned him about theft.
Raghu rushed home and was surprised to see that the main door, wardrobe, and open lockers in all three rooms.
Thieves looted 2 kg gold, 4 kg silver article diamond jewelry worth Rs 21 Lakh.

“We have gathered Visual CCTV from the surrounding houses.
