Rituals who were respected time were seen followed at the gate of Jayamarthanda Palace Mysuru on Thursday because the elephant Majestic made his way to the palace with Shehnai’s voice and drum set the tone for the celebration of the Dasara Mysuru.
District administration and Palace Board Mysuru gave traditional speech by offering rituals and arranged the honor kingdom for the elephant fleet and welcomed them with a flower shower.

Bagadi Gautham, Commissioner of Police Mysuru Dr.
Chandragupta, and others from the Dasara Executive Committee welcomed the elephant with the Grand Gaja Puja.
Elephants will stay in the temporary warehouse provided for them at the palace place along with their caregivers for the whole duration of the festival.
The 56-year-old Tusker Abhimanyu will lead the elephant team participating in Jumbo Savari this year.
The fleet includes five male and three women’s elephants.
Of the eight participating elephants, this year marked the Dasara debut from Ashwathama 34 years found in Sakleshpur forest four years ago.
The 1mysuru Dasara box will start from October 7 and will end on October 15.
